I have uploaded some gems, but also some - em, not so great rides that I would like to delete.  Is there a way to do that?

  Can't pair button
Posted by: ygalanter - 08-29-2020, 07:28 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

Hi, I've had problems putting the button in pairing mode, but finally managed it. When pairing GamePad controller I see "Controller VZ Button" in devices list (I am on Android phone, Quest headset) but every time I try to pair I get "Something went wrong. Please try again". Any idea how to fix it?

Is there a way to turn off the coins?
Posted by: apLundell - 08-29-2020, 12:58 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (10)

After being too busy to use my bike for a couple of weeks, I was really disappointed to see that my ride through the countryside has now been gamified with coins and special ca-ching sound effects.

I would very much appreciate a way of turning that off.  The explorer was such a nice clean experience compared to the other app with the games.

If there isn't, is there a way to roll my Quest back to version from July?

Thanks.

  Stuttering of Avatar in Explorer.
Posted by: jrstorey - 08-27-2020, 02:19 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (8)

For the past three weeks or so I've observed a noticeable stuttering of my avatar during transitions in Explorer.  It's not present during every transition but enough to be annoying.  Could it be associated with one of the recent builds?  I checked on fast.com and my internet speed is 110Mbps on my Oculus Go.

  Coins glitch?
Posted by: Stain2319 - 08-21-2020, 01:44 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (6)

i had recently ridden a couple of the VRFS rides and accumulated some coins - somewhere over 100 but less than 200.

This morning I went to customize my avatar and bought a shirt that cost 100 coins.

Then I immediately started a new ride and it says I have -100 coins?

BADWATER – DEATH VALLEY USA 143 MILES
The Badwater 135 is often referred to as “The World’s Toughest Foot Race” and takes place in one of the hottest places on Earth; Death Valley. While we couldn’t ride the entire race route, we did our best to capture the spirit of the event. It is the longest route of the adventure pack and a true challenge to finish during the time window.

DEATH ROAD – BOLIVIA 9 MILES

This ride takes you on parts of the Old Yungas Road in La Paz, Bolivia. This road was built in 1930 and due to the nature of its narrow single track, fog, and steep slopes, was considered one of the most dangerous roads in the world. A newer road has been built in recent years to allow for a safer place to drive, but the old road is still a favorite of visiting cyclists.
