Hey Everyone,
I am making this post first off as an apology for our lack of activity on these forums, and secondly to explain why we are making a change and where we are going.
First, the apology.
Over the last few weeks we have been bad at checking these forums. The reasons are varied and many but at the end of the day it doesn't matter. We set the expectation that you could come here for help and to discuss the game and then did not live up to our end of the bargain. I personally checked in several times, but assumed someone else would post in reply and that was a bad choice on my part. I know how frustrating it can be to post and never hear anything or even know if it was seen. I wholeheartedly apologize for that and we will do better in the future.
As to the future of the forums.
When we started these forums it was a place for our Dev team and the community to interact and share information. When we had a very small community this was where the few vocal folks were providing feedback and it was incredibly helpful in the development process. As we have grown two things have happened. First, maintaining the forums, keeping them running and functional, has been a developmental drain. Many people are still unhappy with the functionality of them despite the fact that we have devoted many developmental hours to improving them. With a team our size it often means working on the forums means we are not working on the games which turns into a bit of resource battle.
Second, the forums have proven to be the minority choice for our users to interact with us. We have tried to drive interest in them with ride reviews, moving our beta process here and various other techniques, but the majority of our users have chosen to interact with us using Facebook. Between Facebook and our support system we are fielding thousands of messages a month from users and it’s been difficult to keep up with. We even added a full time support person last month in an effort to help.
For both the tech and support reasons we have decided to retire the forums and move to other platforms. The majority of our community can be found on the Facebook group HERE. This group is very active in providing support to users as well as feedback and our team is on their daily. For those of you who don’t use Facebook we also have a Discord that has sections for development, bugs and just social chatter. You can find that HERE.
The Forums will be retired for new posts on Friday April 9th.

Hi,
I have just received answer for VZ Fit email support (see below). It is very sad, but they are planning to terminated this forum. So let enjoy the last days of its existence. I thing, that this is very bad decision, because this forum has some structure, history, there are ride reviews and many good and useful things which could not be fully replaced inf Facebook page.

Sorry about the lack of forum support. We will be terminating the forums soon and they don't exist on the new website. Our community engagement is primarily conducted on the Facebook community page now and we are working on a comprehensive FAQ to be released as soon as possible.
Yes the Erics are both with the company and we are working hard on updates as we rapidly approach release on the Oculus Store.
Please stay tuned to the Facebook page and any marketing emails as we have a host of new features coming soon.
I hope this answers your questions and assuages some of your concerns.

Hi-
I am relatively new to Vzfit, and love being able to ride the Google roads of the world while I exercise! However, I have one small problem- I'll be riding along smoothly, at about 60 rpm, and suddenly the rpms will drop to 5 or 10, then rapidly rise back to 60 rpm, over a couple of seconds. The visual image follows course- I pretty much stop, although I am pedaling at an even speed throughout, then it starts up again. It will do this 15 to 20 times, in a 30 min ride- makes me a bit queezy. I am using a recumbent exercise bike, with a Wahoo RPM cadence sensor on the pedal, and an Oculus Quest 2. I talked to Wahoo already about it- I am pretty sure it is not the battery- they advised me to move the sensor closer to the crank, but that didn't do anything. Oddly, I just upgraded from an Oculus Go, and didn't have this problem with that.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!! Have others experienced this problem? Did I pick the wrong sensor?

I've tried city mode a couple of times, but when it's turned on, the framerate appears to divebomb and the screen flicker in unbearable. I'm using the Quest 2.

Hi, I am trying to create my own custom maps for use in Explorer but unless they have specific directions in them or a A to B start/end point, I can't import the map from Google My Maps.
I have tried saving the map layer as 'Directions from (place A) to (place B)' but this doesn't work and results in a no such child: {http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2}LineString error.
It's fine if I use the built-in directions feature of My Maps to plot a route as it creates an A (start) and B (end) point but if I want to freehand it and plot my own route then it won't import that route into the game.
It would be great if we could import any GPX or KML file into the game somehow. For example, I want to ride from Land's End to John O'Groats in Explorer but the routes created in My Maps use roads you wouldn't normally ride on on a bike, such as dual carriageways, plus it was very buggy and had lots of random plot points all over the place resulting in the game getting stuck between plot points and I would have to use the 'Go Back' feature of the game and hope it would get unstuck or exit the game entirely and load the route again.
I found some alternate routes (GPX files) that someone else had created elsewhere that avoided such roads and used roads that you would actually be able to cycle on but I can't get this into the game as when I import it into Google My Maps, it doesn't show the directions from A to B, just a red start and green end point with the route layed out in blue.
If we could create our own custom routes without the need for directions or import any GPX/KML file then this would be great. The main issue seems to be having to have this A and B point which only happens when you use the My Maps directions feature to auto-create a route. There seems to be no way to create your own route and say Point A goes here at the start of the route and point B goes here at the end.
I hope I made sense with what I mean.

I am a new VzFit user. I am using a basic indoor bike combined with a cadence and speed sensor.
Since I plan to buy a new indoor bike, I am interested in knowing if any bike is compatible with VzFit and supports resistance control. I found a thread discussing the topic, but as far I understood, it seems only cycling trainers, such as Kinetic Road Machine, support resistance control. Am I correct, or does exist any indoor bike available?

standing cyclette with magene s3+ and quest 2 In vzplay recognize sensor and all go, but
if i open vzfit he's launch standing mode and no recognize (message with "pedals for etc etc") magene.
Previously vzfit crash at launch but after received support I updated quest 2 to version 26 and problem crash resolved
can someone help me to fix?
