How can I get the crank sensor in the unity
Posted by: wmlabsteam - 05-19-2020, 03:22 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

We want to develop the project which can ride bike by rotating the crank sensor, but we cannot access the sensor right now in the unity. Does it need some device (like Bluetooth sensor) to connect between unity and crank sensor?

  Reinstalling VZFit in Oculus Go
Posted by: Natepepper - 05-19-2020, 02:36 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

It has been a while since I used VZFit and I had removed the apps from my Oculus Go headset. When I try to use my redemption codes to download the apps in the Oculus store it says "Codes already redeemed". The apps do not show up in my library on Oculus to reinstall. Is there a trick to reinstalling the apps on your headset after they have been deleted?

  Monoscopic vs Stereoscopic
Posted by: evets - 05-18-2020, 04:23 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

Is it ok to use Stereoscopic on the Oculus Go?  I noticed a warning that it may overheat.  I am a new user but does Stereoscopic seem more clear when riding?? Huh

  Zwift
Posted by: Dmccull - 05-18-2020, 11:10 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

I have one of the original VirZoom exercise bikes. I read somewhere in the VirZoom information that it was compatible with Zwift. I tried it, and it wouldn’t connect. I was wondering if you knew of any other apps that work with the VirZoom bike. Maybe they were talking about the VirZoom sensor. Would I have to buy another bike to use these other apps?

  SDK Question
Posted by: mrphilipjoel - 05-17-2020, 07:15 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

Just for fun, I'm adding VZFit support as kind of an 'Easter Egg' for my VR Disc Golf game.

Easy implementation just as I remember.

The default rigidbody has a mass of 1 KG. But, the first bump I hit, makes me literally start to fly (like ET is sitting in the basket of my bike).

Can you guide me to which settings might need to be adjusted in the inspector to fix this?

Also, another question.

I'm sure this hasn't been looked at, since it doesn't seem like any third-party developers have added your SDK to their games, but I think the 'loading' screen needs updated. My guess is that it is one that was designed for the PlayStation.

It mentions 'turn on your bike' and then later mentions 'press the R button'.

Also, would there be a way to show this loading screen, but on a transparent background so you can still see the game behind it?

  Improvements ideas for future versions
Posted by: asanz - 05-17-2020, 06:39 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (2)

After testing for a few days, i have a couple of possible improvements that will increase the sensation of rinding a bike while using VR:

Do you think that will be possible, when "climbing up" to make more hard to mantain speed and when "climbing down" to maintain a minimal speed without pedaling? I know that deppends on the route and maybe is hard to put in place, for now the maps are transmiting the sensation of going up and down.

Do you think that will be possible somekind of "Free ride" ? I mean, without a set route, just free riding following maps but free path.

Kind regards.

  UFO Sighting!

I saw a UFO abduct a bike during my Explorer ride earlier this morning!

It then said found 1 of 7 UFOs!  Are there more easter eggs like this in the new Explorer?

LOVE IT!

  List apps in Oculus Store?
Posted by: jqnatividad - 05-16-2020, 11:38 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

Was just wondering why Explorer and Play are not listed in the store.

It would greatly boost discovery of the system if it was listed.  And perhaps, you can even have people "pay" thru the Oculus store, and ship them the sensors.

While they wait for the sensors, perhaps, you can even have an "auto-pedal" option or use the controllers instead...

  Increase speed or RPM?
Posted by: asanz - 05-16-2020, 03:49 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (7)

Hello and good evening. I have a question, there is any option to increase RPM for moving faster?
Seems that sensor is working well because is detectig every step and cadence is working well, but seems that speed is very low. For every 3 pedal round is only turning one in the VR bike, even with difficulty 1.

Kind Regards and thank you very much for your time.
