We would love to do this , but the Strava API doesn't seem to allow it anymore. Do you know another app that does this?

Zwift still does it?

But maybe they pay for special access?

I actually tried it with zwift and it didn't auto upload anything. I had to manually go back and add them. I may have missed a setting somewhere though?

I didn't manually upload anything, when you finish a ride you just click save and everything happens. I paired zwift with strava over a year ago so maybe then it was still allowed.

I believe there's an old/unofficial api to upload photos programmatically. If we were to try that api, I think we'd need to wait until a manual strava sync option and menu. Some people have complained about our automatic uploads in general, so we wouldn't want to compound that.

Also, taking hidden photos along the way could also cause glitches We'd have to run some tests, maybe a couple would be fine.

This may have already been answered (if so, I apologize in advance) but does Strava record VZplay activities too or just VZexplorer activities?

It just records VZfit Explorer, including the gps route you took.  Once upon a time we logged the games that became VZfit Play, but they weren't a great fit because didn't provide an intuitive "real world distance" or actual locations.
