Bike routing VS. Car routing on Google

VZexplorer uses car routing with street view. If you want to ride scenic route it usually sends you around via major highways instead of intended route.
For developers: You should replace car routing option on google maps to bike routing!!!

When creating a ride, you can uncheck 'include highways' which will create your route without them. There is probably more they can do with it, but right now it looks like they are working on getting everything set so that they can be on the storefront.

We actually switch to bike routing from car routing if car routing doesn't find a path from A to B. But the reason we start with car routing is that is where most of the Streetview images would be along!
