Locations are missing
#1
Greetings,
Today I received the bike sensor and finally I registered with vzfit and the first thing I wanted to do is to ride in my home town. I followed the instructions, found the location via google map and paste it on the start location but it said no data for that location .. please try another.
Is there any restrictions on the locations ? because I can see the location on google map even I can move around using my computer but on the vzfit explorer it says no data for that location .. grateful if you could advice.
Best regards

Hi, can you DM me precisely what you entered as a start location?

You can check if there's Streetview coverage along any road in Google maps by clicking on the "pegman" icon in lower right corner of map window.

"Latitude, longitude" or a full street address should get you there then.

If you're able to actually get to Streetview image you want, you can see what latitude & longitude it is in the URL.

Thank you very much for your reply.
The string I entered as start point is 35.5618535,45.3795242

The complete location url is
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Sulaym...45.4351181
I went to vzfit explorer .. Create Ride .. and in the start point I entered 35.5618535,45.3795242

I also tried another location 35.8344522,50.9389701
The full URL is
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Karaj,...50.9390906

Both locations didn't work for me .. I live in Turkey thought and would love to visit my home town and the other location.

Am I doing something wrong ? is the part I select and paste in start section correct ?

Best regards

Sorry I think I posted wrong locations

This is the correct one ( that didn't work )

35.8283558,50.959974

The complete url is
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.8283558,...168!8i3584

The other location for Sulaimaniya also didn't work

This location has street view and also didn't work 35.8050258,50.9419922

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.8050258,...776!8i3888

when you move the mouse, you can see that the mouse converts to arrow and when you click it changes the location .. so I assume the location is a street view ?

Hi, I looked at all those locations in Google Maps and the problem is there isn't continuous Streetview coverage at them.  The last one has a single Streetview image, rather than continuous road coverage.

There is road coverage near those locations but you have to zoom out in Google Maps and click the "yellow man icon" to bottom right of map window to see the blue lines that represent road sections that have Streetview.  Single Streetview images are shown with little blue circles, but aren't connected in a way Explorer can ride through them.

See the red areas I marked in the picture below
