VZFIT exploer is great app and I love it! I have used for 3 weeks and there is some of my tips for adding new features.
Adding feature to have option use Youtube or video player in Exploer. Users can enjoy youtube videos or movies in during cycling. Make two fine things in one moment (Fun and sport aktivity). This solution is available and works great in Real VR Fishing app in Oculus Quest
Adding feature to make full 360deg. google street viewpoint without 3D distortion flatten problems. For example – User is riding along some beautiful place like mountain lake, but it is impossible to view it in natural way (especially when there is some trees or other obstacle in close distance to bike road). This feature works great in Wonder app in Oculus Quest. It would be great to add this option to VZ Fit Exploer.
Add option to select manually of time of period of taking google street photos. In some location is ride suddenly taken to some ugle old google street version for very long time, so user must end this ride. This option is also available in Wonder app in Oculus Quest.
Add option to support continue riding after the main ride is finish. There could be additional counting of cycled kilometers (at now there is zero kilometers, in some cases is also no option to continue in bike journey)
Add option to show burned calories and speed of rideing
Add option to use GPS google data to analyse terrain height cant and make suggestion to user to increase resistant on stacionary bike machine (this could works with analyses of average cycling speed of cyclist in the climbing to uphill. Suggestion information will be colored to red until the user decrease his own speed to speed, which is common in ride to uphill. After made correction (decreased speed after increase resistant in stationary bike) this information will be colored in green color.
Thank you in advance

Thanks Daniel! It's funny you should mention watching youtube videos while cycling, we have an idea in mind similar to that fishing app.
Give our "Comfort Mode" a try to show undistorted Streetview image like Wander. You are still responsible for moving and steering but it shows a slideshow rather than continuous road motion. You can switch to and from that mode at any time during a ride, so you could keep the default "Country Mode" until you hit a bad patch of distortion. Also give "City Mode" a try, it's a different kind of continuous rendering that can work better in cities.
We always use the latest available Streetview images, which can even affect rides made before those changes. We're looking into our options for selecting date ranges.
When you finish any ride you should be able to keep riding now, like when creating open-ended rides. Can you tell me the ride you finished that didn't allow you to continue?
We plan to add burned calories and riding speed to our upcoming customizable HUD. People would like more types of stats than we can show all at once, so the idea is to let you choose the ones to show.
We currently use GPS height data to affect your "virtual gearing", so you have to pedal faster to go up hills and slower to go down hills. Your idea to ask the user to adjust their resistance instead of changing that virtual gearing makes sense, and could also be used with our virtual trainer. We'll put it on the list!
Hi,
thank you very much for response and positive attitude.

Yes, I full understand. This is minor problem, I was just thinking that when I found some really nice place on the road a need take a short brake, so that would be super to have on main screen easy option to temporarily disable distorted 3D google street rendering and load clean 360photo bubble (like the Wander app) and see the nice landscape in still position and this option should be easy disable again and switch to normal riding 3D mode (without going to option panel; just one little button – it could be placed on behind me, so it could not be take place in main panel in front view) when I decide continuing to cycling.

Yes, this is in most cases problem of custom made routes, where are situation, that suddenly is loaded old google street scenes in really bad TQ and user just don’t know how long it take time to get to newer location with ok google street TQ. This problem could be also easy solved in adding opting for user use location jump by one click (for example 5km jumps forward or use the map of the route). This trick could be also useful for getting user from badly distorted areas or inaccurately solved route direction (Riding across the road on the way forward – this is unpleasant too; long tunnels in Alps mountain, etc.)

This would be great. It may be also useful to see, how many kilometers/ miles use have done in continuing ride after passing original end of tour as bonus ride kilometers. In presence, I dont know, how many km I have reached after continuing in ride direction after its end.
P.S. I forgot mentioned in my post, that could be great to implemented some small map popup, so user have ability to see where is in present moment and it could be also great to have ability to jump to other place in the road (as it is possible in Wonder app)
Thank you very much. You are doing great product here! “Keep pushing”! J
