Newbie Issues - Vixster - 09-08-2020

Hello all! Vic B. here.

I just bought an Oculus Quest, stationary bike, and Fitbit after hearing about VZFit from a friend and fellow member.

I'm only in a handful of riding sessions with VR Explorer.

Several times I interrupted a session unintentionally which is part of my learning curve of how to use the Oculus and VZ Fit.

After completion session, I am not seeing my stats from the restart populate in VZFIT online or pushing over to my Fitbit.

Until I figure this out, is there a way to pull my distance and time stats for each individual ride session so I can manually update states in my Fitbit?

Is there an existing workaround solution for this issue? Or am I doing something wrong?

I am using the CooSpo RPM Cycling Speed and Cadence Sensor.

Thanks in advance.

Vic B.

Hi Vixter!

You should see spins and other progress updates immediately on your Stats (vzfit.com/stats) and Usage (vzfit.com/playsession/user) pages.

If your account is hooked to Fitbit, it should show up there after roughly 10 minutes. We wait that long to group multiple shorter sessions into one.

Thank you. My ride from this eveninig seems to register correctly. I captured a snapshot from my previous ride, and I believe the ap said I could retrieve it from my online account here. Where do I find the photos? thanks

You can find and share them from http://vzfit.com/snapshots, which is also on your Profile page from the main menu.

We can see your first and last Fitbit uploads sent the correct distances, but the middle two only sent only some of your updates on those days. A check of other rider updates didn't have this issue, but we'll get to the bottom and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Note for every spin (which you can track on http://vzfit.com/playsession/user) we send 4.3 meters to Fitbit. That's based on a presumption of 2:1 bicycle gearing, which is average for touring, and we hope a fair measure of your workout. That will be different from the distance you'll travel in our games, which can vary based on hills, your difficulty settings, and other speed factors and limits.

Thank you! That was helpful! I am really enjoying this.
